Spring Garden Gala Registration Opens Today
Is it too early for thinking about spring? Not if you are thinking about going to the annual MSHS Spring Garden Gala to be held April 1, 2016 at Vadnais Heights Commons Event Center in Vadnais Heights. Registration for this event, which is often sold-out, opens today.

The Spring Garden Gala, formerly called Spring at the Inn, raises funds for MSHS education programs while introducing gardeners to the newest plants through a spring “plant fashion show.” The event features a luncheon and a dinner option, with great food provided by the Lake Elmo Inn Catering staff.
Cost of the event is $65 per person for the lunch, with a $10 discount for MSHS members. The evening event is $85 per person, with a $10 discount for MSHS members. An additional $5 will be discounted from each ticket purchase for reservations made by Dec. 16. You can also purchase one or more tables for your garden club, Master Gardener group or other plant-loving friends.

The highlight of the event is the plant fashion show, during which you will get to see many of the new plants being introduced in 2016 by Bailey’s and Monrovia. The plants range from trees to groundcovers. This is a great way to begin planning for your 2016 garden while supporting a wonderful cause. In addition to the plant fashion show, the event includes a silent auction, door prizes and lots of fun.
You can register online (choose lunch or dinner to go to the registration area) or call 651-643-3601, if you would like to reserve a table for your group.
