What's Blooming? Purple Prairie Plants

August is the season when prairie plants, including the many pretty purple prairie plants, bloom. We’ve seen purple prairie clovers, Joe Pye weed, anise hyssop and lots of purple coneflowers in bloom this past week. Prairie plants are wonderful for attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
