The March/April issue of Northern Gardener includes a special cover wrap that lists the more than 120 nurseries, garden centers and shops that are MSHS discount partners. These wonderful businesses offer reduced rates to members of MSHS, and if you are someone who loves plants and garden accessories, the discount card is a significant benefit.

How does it work? First, check out the list for a partner near you—or for an area where you will be traveling. Our discount partners are located all over Minnesota, from Austin to northern Minnesota. We even have several MSHS discount partners in Wisconsin and Iowa, too.

When you go shopping, remember to bring your MSHS membership card (or carry a picture of it on your phone) to show at the time of sale. Discounts vary from partner to partner. They may not apply to sales items, but if you are a plant lover, it’s usually a great deal.

While most of our partners are nurseries and garden centers, we also have several popular venues around Minnesota among our MSHS discount partners, including the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Como Zoo and Conservatory, Seed Savers Exchange in Decorah, Iowa, and the Walker Art Center.
