It’s that time of the year, when gardeners are prowling nurseries and garden centers looking for annuals, perennials, vegetable starts and those special pieces of art or decoration for their garden. If you are an MSHS member, be sure to check out the list of MSHS Discount Partners on our website. (The list also appears at the top of this blog and was included on a cover wrap around the March/April 2017 issue of Northern Gardener.
Discounts are good at 120 nurseries, garden centers and specialty shops around Minnesota. It includes large retail nurseries with multiple locations, such as Abrahamson Nurseries, Bachman’s, Hedberg Supply, Malmborg’s, Mother Earth Gardens, Patio Town, Prairie Restorations, Sargent’s in Rochester and Wagner Garden Centers, as well as dozens of full-service garden centers, boutique and specialty nurseries as well as wonderful mom-and-pop garden centers all over Minnesota and Wisconsin. The card even works at the Friends’ School Plant Sale!
Discount partners also include special retail and entertainment venues that gardeners love, such as the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Como Zoo and Conservatory, Walker Art Center, even a winery!
