Big Change at St. Paul Home and Landscape Show
The St. Paul Home and Landscape Show (formerly called the Minnesota Home and Patio Show) is changing this year, but MSHS will be there with a variety of bulbs, plants, books, garden decor and educational opportunities. Those who are MSHS members receive free admission to the show, which will be held Feb. 15-17, as part of their membership, and we hope to see you all at the show.
The first big change for MSHS is that our retail booth will be on the main floor of the St. Paul RiverCentre, in location 088. The show will not have a special stage for garden talks as it has in the past, but we will be sponsoring several talks on the main stage. (See the list below.)

Another big change is that we will be conducting our very popular Make It & Take It: Kokedama class several times during the show. A form of Japanese garden art that is centuries old and related to bonsai, kokedama is a unique way to present and display plants. It has a moss ball as its focal and supporting point for a sculpted tree or plant, which is then displayed on a platform or suspended from string with the plant growing out from the sphere. The class will be offered eight times over the three days of the show. You can register here for your preferred time. The class costs $25 and you will get to take home your finished kokedama.
Discounts for Members
Members can pick up their free tickets at our will-call booth near the ticket booths at the RiverCentre. Your membership card will also give you a 15 percent discount at our booths where we’ll have an array of gardening gifts and merchandise as well as Asiatic, Oriental, and Canna lily bulbs; dahlia tubers; hostas; daylilies and many more plant varieties for sale.
