About Matthew

A nationally peer-reviewed herbal practitioner, author, journalist and educator, Matthew has been a nature teacher for over a decade and a professional speaker for more than 25 years. He has presented hundreds of lectures and workshops and taught at colleges and universities.

His books include Edible & Medicinal Wild Plants of the Midwest (third edition, 2020), 300 Herbs (second edition, 2020) and Diary of a Country Herbalist (2017).
