About Emilie

Emilie Snell-Rood is a Professor of Ecology, Evolution & Behavior at the University of Minnesota. Her research considers how pollinators respond to human environments, and what this means for conservation. She teaches classes in animal behavior, animal diversity, bio-inspired design, and evolutionary perspectives on mental health.
