About Alex
I am interested in all aspects of the botanical world and love to share that passion with others. As the director of the College of Biological Sciences Conservatory and Botanical Collection at the University of Minnesota, I have cultivated nearly every type of plant imaginable, and particularly enjoy the challenge of unusual species. By training I am an ecophysiologist, but in practice I am passionate about all aspects of botanical science.
