That’s the goal of the Hort Society’s Judging and Exhibiting committee. Through educational meetings, plant shows and publications, this program helps people grow beautiful specimens for exhibitions and fairs and gain skills in creating designs out of plant material.

Join our Potted Plant Show
A longtime Minnesota State Fair tradition, the Hort Society’s Potted Plant Show draws hundreds of entries and thousands of viewers to the iconic Agriculture Horticulture Building every August. The goal? To spark interest in plants and give fairgoers up-close access to new varieties for home and garden. All are welcome to enter and visit!
