Please submit events online (click on “SUBMIT EVENT” above) to be included on this calendar and for potential mention in our e-newsletter and social media channels. Events will be added within two weeks of submission if they align with the goals of this board.  

Only garden clubs, community organizations and other non-profit groups can submit horticulture, gardening, nature and outdoor-related events. We do not publish for-profit business events unless the event benefits a non-profit. Events must take place in USDA Hardiness Zones 3, 4 or 5. If you have questions about whether or not your event meets the criteria for this calendar, please email info@northerngardener.org.  

We proudly promote this calendar through our bimonthly e-newsletter, bimonthly social posts (@mnhort) and in our print magazine, Northern Gardener®. Because our e-news readers and social followers engage with this calendar most, we prioritize promoting events on these channels. To be considered for these channels, you must submit your event by the end of the previous month (Ex: If your event takes place on September 15, submit by August 31).
