Community Calendar

See what gardening-related events and plant sales are happening near you! Most community events are in or near the Twin Cities metro area or greater Minnesota. Connect with gardeners and plant-lovers and get ready to grow.

Would you like us to list your event on our website and/or in Northern Gardener magazine? See terms and deadlines below, and click on "Submit An Event" to complete the form. Please submit all events online—we are unable to accept event submissions via email. Questions? Email us or call 651-643-3601.

Submissions must include all information requested; incomplete submissions may not be published. If contact info isn't provided, we will include the first name and email of the submitting party.

If you miss the magazine deadline, your event will still be included on our online Community Calendar.

Although we try our best to include all submitted event items in the magazine, due to space issues, we cannot guarantee that all events will be published. Each group is allowed 2 event listings in each issue of the magazine unless space allows for additional events.

Nonprofit groups, such as garden clubs, community organizatons and societies, can submit horticulture, gardening, nature or outdoor-related events. We do not publish events of for-profit businesses unless the event benefits a nonprofit.
