Como Conservatory Winter Flower Show
Are you looking for a perfect escape from the cold, harsh Minnesota winter? Then the Como Park Conservatory Winter Flower Show is the place for you! The show runs through March 12 at the conservatory at 1225 Estabrook Drive in St. Paul.

I visited recently on one of the colder days we’ve had in awhile. The conservatory gleamed brightly in the sun against the stark winter landscape. Once inside, the conservatory was warm and inviting, a welcome change from the weather outside. Beautiful plants and flowers filled the venue. This year’s show features a mix of red and purple plants including azaleas, camellias, lilies and more! The tropical sights and smells are enticing.
A popular destination within the conservatory is the Sunken Garden. It is peaceful place, even when crowded with visitors. The beauty of the sunlight upon the water and floral display is breathtaking. Onlookers are eager to see and learn more about the plants, and the many knowledgeable volunteers on site were happy to answer questions.

The Winter Flower Show is like a mini-vacation, and is a must-see destination for family and friends. It is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day! A small guest donation to help provide care for the plants is always appreciated.
