Continue your journey and develop your design skills and aesthetic sense at School 3 of the Judging & Exhibiting Schools. Refine your knowledge of traditional design and explore creative design. There will be a hands-on opportunity with the design class.

In School 4, learn about several of the specialty categories of judging horticulture, such as hostas and roses.

This course is designed specifically for those studying for certification or recertification as a judge with the Minnesota Horticultural Society. It will also be of interest to those who want to improve their skills in floral arranging, whether competitively or for their personal satisfaction. Classes do not need to be taken in order.

If you have taken the first two classes, schools 3 & 4 are the final two required to earn official MSHS Judge/Certification/Credentials. Along with the other hands-on requirements, it will make you eligible to serve as a judge at local plant and flower shows, 4-H, county fairs, and the Minnesota State Fair.
