Membership Sales

MSHS events like the spring shows are an important opportunity to increase membership. Membership volunteers are responsible for introducing visitors to the benefits MSHS membership and assisting our current members with their membership renewals. All volunteers receive information about any special membership offer before the date of their shift. If you are volunteering for us at the spring shows, we ask you to familiarize yourself with this information before you arrive for your shift.

Merchandise Assistant

Volunteer merchandise assistants should assist MSHS staff with sales and restocking merchandise and assist the cashier by packaging the items purchased at check out. MSHS members receive a 15% discount on all our merchandise, year-round, so merchandise assistants should ask visitors if they are members of MSHS and let them know about the discount.

Will-Call

MSHS members at qualifying levels receive two free tickets to both the St. Paul Home and Landscape and the Minneapolis Home and Garden Shows. Will-call booth volunteers are responsible for assisting MSHS members with their entrance tickets to the show. MSHS will-call is also an opportunity to introduce visitors who are not MSHS members to the benefits of membership and to assist members with their renewals. You will receive information about show ticket qualifying levels before your shift.

Theater Volunteers

MSHS has a garden theater at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show.
