A new seasonal schedule

In 2023, Northern Gardener will shift to four print publications plus one shorter online supplement. This is based on feedback from member surveys, researching other publications and extensive analysis. Read more about the key ways this is a healthy evolution for our beloved, 150-year-running flagship product.

How will this affect my current membership?

Members and subscribers, continue looking for Northern Gardener in your mailbox as usual through 2022. We'll kick off 2023 with the digital supplement in mid-January, followed by four print publications mailed seasonally. Look for the spring issue in early March, the summer issue in mid-May, a fall issue in mid-August and the winter issue in early November.
