DESCRIPTION:What: 2026 Hennepin County Master Gardener Volunteer Learning Garden Tour \nWhen: Saturday\, July 11\, 2026 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – rain or shine \nWhere: Ten gardens across southern Hennepin County \n2026 Hennepin County Master Gardener Volunteer Learning Garden Tour provides inspiration around every corner \nHennepin Co.\, Minn. – Experience one of Minnesota’s premier educational garden events this summer at the 2026 Hennepin County Master Gardener Volunteer Learning Garden Tour. Held on Saturday\, July 11\, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (rain or shine)\, this self-guided tour features ten unique private residences across Bloomington\, Edina\, Minneapolis\, and Richfield. \nEach stop on the tour is the personal landscape of a Hennepin County Master Gardener volunteer\, showcasing research-based techniques and varied designs that are adaptable for any skill level or space. Attendees can consult with on-site volunteers to receive expert advice tailored to their specific gardening challenges. \nEvent Highlights: \n\n\nDiverse Landscapes: Explore ten distinct gardens ranging in style\, size\, and design. \n\n\nEducation Stations: Learn practical skills at every stop\, including budget-friendly gardening\, tree pruning\, and cut flower gardening. \n\n\nShopping & Resources: Browse the “Garden Shed” for unique accessories or visit the “Book Nook” for a curated selection of adult and children’s literature. \n\n\nPractical Inspiration: Access plant lists and garden histories to help jumpstart your next home project. \n\n\nExpert Access: Engage in one-on-one conversations with Master Gardeners to get reliable answers to your plant and soil questions. \n\n\nWhether you are new to gardening or a seasoned pro\, you will leave with the inspiration and knowledge needed to transform your own backyard or urban space.  \nSingle tickets are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the tour. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Children under 12 get in free with a paying adult. The tour is held rain or shine. All ticket sales are final.
