SUMMARY:Art Opening: Where the Seed Remembers
DESCRIPTION:ATTEND this special opening reception and enjoy food & beverages while meeting the artists!  Where The Seed Remembers is an immersive multicultural community art exhibit that celebrates earth\, creation\, lineage and memory. It is co-curated by artist\, storyteller\, and cultural architect Joshua “Brotha Asé” Gillespie. This exhibition and accompanying celebration and community gatherings honors the connection between Mother Earth and the human experience. It explores birth\, nurturing\, protection\, identity\, grief\, joy and the giving and receiving cycles. The experience blends visual art\, sacred storytelling\, spoken word\, and communal reflection to reawaken connection in a time of disconnection. These stories\, artworks and reflections are presented by 10 Minnesota artists representing the Black\, Indigenous\, Latiné\, East African and Afro-Caribbean communities. DESCRIPTION:The Anoka County Master Gardeners’ home landscaping and garden fair offers more than a dozen educational classes\, creative vendor booths and access to local organizations in the resource room. Attendees can also add a “make-and-take” workshop for an additional materials fee. \nCafe Zupas turkey\, ham or vegetarian sandwiches are available for lunch for an additional fee. \nVisit the Anoka County Master Gardener website for more information regarding our programs and offerings. \nRead this brochure for a breakdown of sessions and more information. \n\nCost\n\n$35 registration fee\n$20 additional fee for make-and-take class\n$12 lunch fee\n\nRegistration\nRegistration is required. \nCancellation received on or before March 15 will be refunded. Cancellations after March 15 will be charged a $15 cancellation fee plus any materials fees. Lunch cannot be refunded after March 15.

For more than a decade\, this event has supported farmers in building confidence around financial management\, strategic planning\, and decision-making—while creating space for meaningful peer-to-peer learning. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMarch 21-22 in Lanesboro\, MN \n2026 New Farmer U: Giving Your Beginning Farm a Boost!\nin partnership with Renewing the Countryside \nHit the ground running this growing season with an early spring mini-academy itnended to boost farmers’ business skills. We’re excited to collaborate with our friends at Renewing the Countryside on this early spring learning opportunity. \nThis is a great opportunity for farmers in the early part of their careers–whether aspiring and beginning or those in their first decade–no matter where you are located or what you produce. \nProgram\nFeatured presenters include Paul Dietmann\, Compeer Financial’s Senior Lending Officer and popular farm author\, plus additional speakers to be announced\, including experienced organic farmers and agriculture experts. Through group and breakout sessions on a range of topics\, farmers will gain exposure to fresh ideas and access to in-depth consulting on their farm finances and overall operation. \nThe weekend will also be ripe with camaraderie\, peer-to-peer learning\, abundant networking opportunities\, plus a casual bonfire hangout on Saturday night. \nLocation\nAll this will take place at the picturesque Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center \, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through meaningful outdoor experiences that inspire care for the earth and one another.
