DESCRIPTION

Capture your summertime garden bounty or your local farmers market produce with knowledge and helpful hints on canning, freezing, and drying veggies and herbs.
This 1 1/2 hour class will give you health and safety tips and procedures for saving summer produce to eat during the long Minnesota winter.

Instructor Linda Stewart has been raising organic produce for 30 years, providing vegetables and herbs for Twin Cities restaurants.  As a farmer, teacher, and especially mother, she has  been preserving produce for her family and shares her information and experiences with enthusiastic instruction and fun.
