Several commonly grown succulent groups are from the deserts of Southern Africa. In this class we will cover basic care and propagation of the Aloaceae (Aloe, Haworthia and Gasteria) and the Crassulaceae (jade plant family). A range of exemplars will be in demonstration, and each attendee will get two plants to take home.
Dr. William Cook is a biology professor and teaches ecology, wildlife and environmental issues. He is also a Stearns County Master Gardener.
