Welcome to the Northern Gardener Blog

Welcome to the blog of the Minnesota State Horticulture Society! We serve northern gardeners by providing information, resources and community. Our classes, events and community outreach efforts strengthen gardening in Minnesota and beyond. Our award-winning magazine, Northern Gardener, is the only publication devoted exclusively to cold-climate gardening and is a must-read for gardeners in northern climate zones.

Our blog provides up-to-date information about society events and what’s happening in northern gardeners. Sign up for e-mail updates or follow us via our RSS feed. You can also follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook.
