To list your event on our Web site or in Northern Gardener Magazine, complete the form by clicking here or download it and mail it to: Minnesota State Horticultural Society, 2705 Lincoln Drive, Roseville, MN 55113. You may also fax the form to 651-643-3638. Submissions must include all information requested on the form. Calendar of Events submissions for the magazine must be received eight weeks prior to the publication date. If you miss the magazine deadline, your event will still be included on our Web Calendar.

The 26th annual Auxiliary Garden Tour is a rare opportunity to visit four spectacular private gardens in the west metro. Garden tour guests travel in comfortable, escorted air-conditioned buses to view the gardens. Enjoy an epicurean delight on the Morgan Terrace accompanied by live harp music. Sunday champagne brunch, $55. Tues/Wed luncheon, $50; will follow the three hour tour. Maplewood Nature Center - Lake Phalen Wildflower Walk
Tuesday, July 13, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
 

Meet at the Phalen Park Beach House, Phalen Drive and Wheelock Parkway, Maplewood.
Tour the incredible shoreline plantings at Lake Phalen. Learn to identify some of our native wildflowers and hear the story of how this shoreline was restored.  Directions to Lake Phalen Beach House: From Wheelock Parkway, turn north at the stop sign onto Phalen Drive.  Parking for the Beach House is the first parking lot on the right. “A Walk in the Garden” Educational Series - Mexican/Italian Gardening
Wednesday, July 14, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
 

Veteran’s Peace and Master Gardener Demonstration Garden south of the Bunker Hills Activities Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd. N.W., Andover.
Classes will be taught by Anoka County Master Gardener Volunteers and will include many useful gardening tips and University of Minnesota research-based information.  These classes immediately follow the Plant and Insect Diagnostic Clinics also held at the Bunker Hills Activities Center. Sponsored by the University of Minnesota Extension - Anoka County Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Secret Gardens of Houston County - Garden Tour

This garden tour will allow you to see the extraordinary beauty of the driftless region in the extreme SE corner of the state. FamilyMeans 18th Annual St. Croix Garden Tour

The event includes a number of committee-selected gardens throughout the Stillwater area and into Mahtomedi where visitors will take part in a self-guided tour. Tickets for the St. Croix Garden Tour are $15; children under age 12 are free. Tickets are tax deductible. The event supports the programs and services of FamilyMeans, a Stillwater-based nonprofit agency serving people of all ages, backgrounds and income levels. Explore some of the premier water gardens including sites with ponds, streams, water falls, fish.
